Many of us like to scour the internet for fresh decorating ideas, I do that as well, but for the most part, I turn to a good friend of mine that really has a great eye for decorating.
This spring she has done amazing things with silk flowers, from creating beautiful door wreaths to gorgeous swags. Her creations have completely changed my negative view of silk flowers. One of my fave things she did was create a beautiful focal point on her fire place. For those that are interested, she received the flowers below from Silk Plants Direct. As you can see, these look absolutely amazing. Nancy used the Pearl Peony Spray to create this arrangement. A beautiful fresh look that's just in time for spring.
I love how the cozy fireplace creates a lovely focal point that is completely appropriate for the upcoming warm weather.
Another way to create a focal point, or make as statement in your home is with 3d wall panels. I like this idea in lieu of painting an accent wall. I would love to know how others decorating their homes this spring. So please feel free to leave comments.
