I own a little car and needed a new pre lit Christmas tree. So I ordered online because there was no way I'd get one home in my car. A few days after it arrived I went to set it up and was plugging in everything as I put the tree together. When I reached in to fluff part of the tree once everything was together I got shocked. We unplugged everything and it turned out there was open wires on the tree! Ended up borrowing a friend and their car to take me to Walmart because it was the only way I could return it according to customer service (I ordered it online tho...)
I buy a lot of things on-line and have never had an issue returning anything.
I purchased a laptop from Amazon.com and decided that it was not the one I wanted. Printed a return label from their site and UPS came to my house to pick it up.
I have ordered shoes online for myself, my son, and my husband and daughter... unfortunately there have been a few times when I have had to return them-I hate paying return shipping so sometimes we'd just end up keeping them and gifting them to a family member.
When shopping online, I am very selective and very sure of what I want, so I have yet to return something that wasn't what I thought it would be. On one occasion, an electrical device wouldn't work, but after contacting the company, they sent a replacement power supply and the device worked fine after that.
New hamster for Christmas, Warren G, first water bottle dripped. Purchased replacement that arrived cracked. Notified seller and they had me ship back the item, it cost under $300...seemed pretty silly.
I had to return some fabric bins that I purchased to put in my changing table for our nursery (baby's due May 1st!), and unfortunately they were too large.
I have just had to send some clothes back they were not like the ones in the pictures in the catalog. I also had an item sent to me not the one I ordered it was a statue and I ordered an iron piece .Did not know about the company so will read more about it.
I recently returned shoes I purchased for my son. It cost more to return the shoes than the purchase cost (I bought them because there were selling for such a great price).
