Most of the products on the market are harmful. It's a fact that seems to be continuously re-instilled in me every time I research common ingredients to everyday products.
Several years ago I became wise to the health threat caused by deodorant, especially after my mom developed breast cancer, so I was completely on board when Naturally Fresh approached me to review their deodorant crystal. I feel everyone should give consideration to what they're smearing underneath their arms.
The Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal stick that I was sent to review is natural in the complete sense. The ingredients consist of mineral salts and Aloe Vera extract. Here's what you won't find:
Parabens
Perfumes
Artificial colors
Harmful Aluminums (linked to breast cancer)
Propylene
Phthalates
The list above consist of ingredients found in common deodorants, most of which are toxic. I would encourage all to research some of these ingredients so that you can appreciate why they don't belong in a product that is used on the skin on a daily basis.
Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal is vegan and cruelty free
Naturally Fresh meets my standards as far as safety, and so far it has proven to be more effective than other deodorant crystals that I've used in the past. I have yet to really put this to the test, however, when I do I will update this post.
At 3.99 it's affordable. I always expect to pay a little more for truly natural products, so I am pleasantly surprised this is budget friendly.
