A couple years ago I dissed the bathroom rugs. I always felt they were a bit tacky. The main reason they had to go is the dreaded fact that they're germ breeding grounds. It's recommended to wash bathroom rugs weekly in hot water with bleach, but all that does is wear away at the matting. Next thing you know it's time to replace the rugs.

I absolutely love the bamboo mat. I've been using bath mats that are towel materials for years. I don't like the thick rugs and have been looking for an alternative for quite some time. It's good to know that you can just let it dry naturally.
I like that I don't have to wash it all the time and use up extra water.
