The Wonders of Sea Buckthorn

Sea Buckthorn is a shrub that is said to be two billion years old.   This highly-durable natural resource is considered to be one of the most powerful plants in the world.  Used both internally and externally, its medicinal and beautifying benefits are quite remarkable.

The Exfoliating Facial Cleanser is simply lovely and is now my new favorite cleanser.  If you have read my blog in the past then you may know that I am a picky girl when it comes to cleansers.  What this offers is a delightful experience, due to the natural oils, and the ability to take off eye makeup without irritating my eyes.   Yes this gentle exfoliator effectively, and non-irritatingly, removes makeup and that includes the thick paste-like concealer I use to cover my massive dark circles.    It is very concentrated, so you need very little, and has a very slick consistency which I love.  Expect to get a lot of mileage out of this 4oz bottle.  With a retail value of only $16.97 it's definitely a bargain.

SeabuckWonders Deep Hydrating Serum

For those of us desiring to prevent the clock from ticking away on our faces, SeabuckWonders offers their Deep Hydrating Serum. This is said to support cell regeneration and support collagen production.  This highly moisturizing serum is also a joy to use.  With a slick, silky consistency a little will go a long way and leave you with a nice little glow.

Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream

The Facial Cream is another dynamo that didn't disappoint.  The moisturizer supports a healthy moisture balance in the skin, so it's ideal for all skin types.  I use this after the serum, however, this can be worn alone with great results.

Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion by SeabuckWonders

I'm not one to take the time to use body lotion, but I do appreciate this lotion.  As with all the products I've tried from SeabuckWonders the body lotion is silky and smells amazing due to all the natural botanicals.  Absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it nice and silky.        

I want to clarify an erroneous comment I saw on another site concerning St. John's Wort.     

Some of SeabuckWonders lotions and creams contain St. John's Wort.  This is a natural botanical that has been utilized for over two thousand years in medicine, especially in Europe.   St. Johns's Wort has been used with success to treat mild depression., however, If taken internally St. John's Wort may cause problems if mixed with certain anti-depressants and some cancer medications.   Over all it is very safe to use on an external basis.  If taken the above meds you may want to proceed with caution.
