Up until the point of needing new clothes I have been in denial about my weight gain. I set a goal to never get to the point of outgrowing my jeans, unfortunately I failed. I realize that my refusing to get on a scale was just contributing to this denial. I felt that the best way to keep the weight off was to gauge my weight by the way my clothes fit.
