RepairPal -Auto Repair and more at your fingertips

  The Internet;  which I think is an invaluable tool, has grown throughout the years to include sites that are instrumental at aiding folks on various topics and information that may be completely foreign to us.  Cars is one of those subjects where I need all the help I can get.  I always dread when something goes wrong with my car, I'm not car savvy and I don't have anyone in my life that is good with cars.

A site that I have found helpful in this area is  RepairPal, this is a great site for completely taking the guess work out of auto repair.  The site is easy to use and navigate. 

For instance, if you are looking for a reputable auto mechanic in your area just click  auto shop directory  you will see a box to type in your local.  Just say you live in San Diego, you will see an option for San Diego Auto Repair. 

You can also easily check the model of your car.  You can see the information for a  99 Ford F-150 , the pros and cons, reviews, recalls, questions and answers, etc.   I can see overall this seems to be a reputable model.

I remember my first car; used of course, the engine light kept coming on and I was completely clueless on how to handle the situation. At RepairPal you can check the engine light .  Here you will see a bevy of information,  you also have the option of posting questions to the RepairPal community, I really like that this service is completely free.   I  wish I had this information at the time it would of saved me quite a bit of money.
