Get Ready For Summer Event continues with Emani Vegan Cosmetics
Although I wouldn't be classified as a vegan, there's just something about the label "vegan" that causes me breath a sigh of relief.
For the duration I was a vegan, I had an extremely difficult time finding vegan cosmetics that actually performed as well as their non-vegan counterparts. The fact is, there really isn't much out there on the market that offers both quality ingredients and efficacy of product.
It was in my quest to find a concealer that didn't irritate my eyes that I discovered Emani cosmetics. Ahh where have they been all my life.
Emani products were created with sensitive skin types in mind. Thus, the products are natural and free of harmful chemicals. Emani takes their quality to another level, by comprising their products with healthful and rejuvenating ingredients. Many of us have a nightly beauty routine that involves moisturizers and serums, how counterproductive it would be to use cosmetics that contain junk ingredients. Emani works with, and compliments a good skincare routine.
The concealer that I had been using really irritated my eyes, fortunately I don't have this problem with the HD Corrective Concealer by Emani. This hydrating concealer contains healthful ingredients to soothe and nourish the delicate skin around the eyes, yet it's not in the least bit oily. It is highly pigmented, which I love because it really conceals and brightens my raccoon eyes.
The brightening affect in the HD Corrective Concealer, not only works to make me look that I got a good nights sleep, it also makes for an ideal highlighter. I like the technique pictured above. For my severe dark circles I find it best to use concealer in the inner corners of my eyes as well as the outer cheek bone. Very similar to the photo, I just extend it downward a little more onto the upper, outer cheekbone.
Vitamin C in HD Corrective Concealer protects the skin from free radicals while providing a brightening affect. I love that it makes me look well rested after a night of very little sleep.
I use the Fair shade, which is a good two shades lighter than my tinted moisturizer. This works well for dark circles and highlighting. If you're looking to cover acne or other scars, then I would suggest choosing a shade that matches your foundation.
This is a fantastic concealer. It's even less expensive than my previous concealer, yet it out performs it on some many levels: quality ingredients, long lasting, brightens to make me look well rested and doesn't irritate my eyes. This is one I would highly recommend. I look forward to trying more vegan products from Emani in the future.
