My youthful figure is gone; much like Paula Deen's star career, or temporarily on hold, not sure which. Needless to say, I needed new clothing. When I was a size two/four I was able to find everything I needed off a department store clearance rack. Not so much the case anymore. Not to mention I really hate shopping.
My only recourse was the internet. Not such a bad thing. I picked up a few things on eBay and eventually discovered a couple essential designers that work well with my not-so-easy to fit curves.
To my dismay both of them sell on one of those dreaded home shopping networks. I honestly didn't think those networks were capable of bringing anything worthwhile to the table. I was wrong.
I now have a favorite designer; if you're not familiar with Antthony Mark Hankins then let me educate you on why you may want to keep this designer on your radar.
Antthony is an extremely talented high-end designer that creates affordable fashion so that those of us on a meagerly budget can look like a million bucks. Need I say more?
In the past two weeks I've accumulated just about all his available jean styles in two different sizes. Not to mention a ton of his gorgeous tops.
Please note, these jeans will work for any body type. I have a friend with a completely different body type than me and they also look amazing in these jeans. They work whether you are a size zero or a size two hundred.
Antthony's Jeans accentuate the positive and camouflage the negative. Basically giving the illusion of being thinner.
Prior to finding these jeans I had been in the market for 'thinning jeans', that is, jeans that are designed and marketed to take ten pounds off or simply make the wearer look thinner. The price point of jeans marketed for that purpose ran high and the reviews were only mediocre. I found that the Anthony Design Original jeans give the illusion of looking thinner, in spite of not being marketed as such and the full retail price is at least half the price of those so called 'thinning jeans'.
I really love these jeans. I feel the jeans are very forgiving and I ended up ordering down from my current size. The smaller size looks fantastic and are still ultra comfortable. Thanks to Antthony, the term "comfortable jeans" doesn't have to be an oxymoron. I'm keeping the larger jeans I ordered, because they still look good and at the clearance price I feel it's worth it to have on hand. Since I am in the process of losing weight, and I pretty confident I will succeed this time; I should probably order another size down. Then I'll be covered.
I have now accumulated enough pieces in my wardrobe to give me a boost of confidence. Let me tell ya..the right pair of jeans can really do wonders for your self-image.
