Seattle's Own Eco-Friendly Blue Dot Robot Games & Puzzles

I've teamed up with some amazing bloggers who love supporting local businesses and are excited to share these products and companies that we love with you. Each participating blogger will be showcasing cloth diaper or natural living products and stores local to them. This is a great way for you to find out where some of your favorite products are made and discover some that you may not have heard of. Introducing Blue Dot Robot Games

With the cooler months ahead, both kids and adults will be spending extra free time indoors.  As a parent we may face the challenge of finding wholesome activities to occupy our children.  One highly beneficial way of effectively occupying kids is with the always-popular Jig Saw puzzle.

Plain old regular picture Jig Saw puzzles actually provide children with an educational advantage by helping kids develop various parts of the brain associated with learning.  Another advantage is that they are so much fun.

Environmentally conscious Blue Dot Robot is based in the ever trendy area of Seattle Washington. No need to despair if you're not from these woods, because Blue Dot puzzles and games can be purchased online through their site as well as Amazon.

The puzzles are always made with at least 90% recycled materials.
 Printed with Vegetable inks. (soy)
 Made here in the US.
 100% biodegradable.
Fully safety tested and approved for ages 6+

Blue Dot Robot is dedicated to keeping folks and the environment safe by using biodegradable materials as well as vegetable ink.  They're also committed to featuring up-and-coming artist.

Sensational Sealife 100 piece puzzle

The colorfully charming puzzle above is titled Sensational Sealife.  This is a one hundred piece puzzle and it's geared for children six and up.  This will keep little ones occupied over and over again.

Oleander Shade (550 pieces) by Linda M. Eddins featured from Blue Dot Robot size: 18'x24"

The above puzzle, Oleander Shade, is what I like to refer to as a personal pan puzzle;  they consist of  between 500 and 1000 pieces. Much like the pizza they're satisfying for one and don't take up a lot of table room.  Yet, still the perfect size for framing. I enjoyed doing this on a dreary day.  My camera is not doing this striking picture justice. The colors are quite vivid.  This puzzle is suitable for ages 10 and up.  I'm a wee bit over ten;)

If you happen to be a local resident you can find Blue Dot Robot Games and puzzles at  Elliott Bay Books and Blue Highway Games as well as online at bluedotrobot.com  (supports various charities when purchased directly )and Amazon.com

I have a hard time breathing around puzzles so I don't join in with kids when they're around one (though puzzels are a favorite past time). Maybe these I can do with them. Thank you for this giveaway!
