Social Media Says No More To Kim & Kanye

It was a wonderful day for Kim K. as she delighted in being Aprils Vogue cover model.   I just hope she didn't read the social media backlash in response to the photo. As you can see the picture is a quite lovely and features Kim in a beautiful wedding gown accompanied by Kanye West.   It appears that Vogue's choice of cover along with the cover's story has caused a social media outrage.

Thousands of folks have taken the time to tell Vogue, and anyone reporting on the story, that they have had enough of this power couple and to cease and desist with any further reporting on the two.  Many have even threatened to never read Vogue again.  Really.. people read Vogue?

Reality TV often pushes superficiality and after a while it does get old.  While I don't watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians I do, on occasion, watch one or two Real Housewives.  The opulent lifestyle along with the accompanying vanity can be really disturbing at best.  When a grown woman's mantra is "you can never be to rich or too skinny", you can't help but wonder where the world is headed.

Back to Kim and Kanye. I'm a bit out of touch and not really aware of why they seem to be so hated in the media.  Regardless, anyone can see the negativity keeps folks talking.

Vogues cover includes the following words "#worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple"  It certainty appears that way.

Yahoo had thousands of repeat comments.  'No more No more..blah blah blah." I haven't seen anything quite like this before and it makes me wonder, Why take the time to click on the story?  A negative reaction is still a reaction.  This is why many realty famers stay relevant for so long.  Maybe to some degree they are pushed into the media, however, it is still the media's reaction that keeps them in the news.

Negative publicity is still publicity

I know I'm guilty of viewing the Real Housewives, even though I realize it's tripe.  Perhaps it's just the old car-crash-syndrome, ya know, when something is so horrible, but you just can't avert your eyes. Maybe it's a form of self-loathing, we subconsciously make ourselves view horrible realty TV as a form of self-harm or abuse.  Or maybe it's just a sick curiosity on the part of the viewer.

Regardless, Vogue is just a fashion magazine.  Why take it so seriously?

I have only ever had one quick through Vogue, and that was when I was in the hairdressers. I to be honest I didn't find it that interesting. I don't really follow celebs I'd much rather read my down to earth bloggers blogs

@Natasha..I totally agree. They're far more relatable and beneficial.

I'm so tired of these two! I feel like they're starving for attention.

Obviously they don't care whether the attention is negative or positive. They just want the attention, which is what everyone gives them! I have have been guilty of also giving them attention because I have occasionally clicked on Kim's Fashion articles.

As long as people continue to turn on their show or click on an article with Kardashian or Kanye in the headline...the media is going to keep showing them. Obviously they're still money makers. And Kanye is actually talented. Arrogant, but talented.

I'm not up with the Hollywood scene, so I know if *I* am tired of Kim & Kanye, then it's totally over-talked about! ha!
