Over the past few years I've put on a good thirty pounds. I spent the last three years lamented the loss of my youthful figure. For a good three years I haven't purchased a piece of clothing in spite of owning very few items that fit. I was sure I would eventually get back into my size four clothing. Thus, I was relegated to my mom's hand-me-downs along with squeezing into body shapers on a daily basis. While I love shapewear, wearing them daily in the summer simply is not fun. So I finally had to take the dive and purchase a few essentials.
Bargain shopping was my forte, unfortunately it's not so easy to find those steals when you are not a size four. I can no longer wear just anything and that means no more finding clothing in the juniors department, let alone the kids department. Which I have done many times. Those days are gone.
So, the new me had to discover what now works and where to find the best bargains. I'm going to share with you some of my favorite designer and stores. This took a little digging to find the best prices.
I'm obsessed with Susan Graver's Liquid Knits
I don't know if you are familiar with Susan Graver. Susan sells her line of clothing on QVC.com. When I first saw tiny size zero Susan selling on TV I thought I will NEVER purchase anything from this woman's line. After all, what could she possibly know about us curvier women. Well the old adage don't judge a book by its cover' applies.
Her liquid knits are gorgeous and really compliment a woman's body regardless of the size.

I own the two liquid knit tops pictured above, among many others, and they are even prettier in person. The fabric glides over your body and camouflages any stomach bloat. I find them to be very figure flattering.
Where I purchased? You can find Susan Graver on QVC.com, however, I found these tops at BraBraLand, an eBay store that boast some fantastic savings.
More great bargains coming soon.
