Every now and then I will channel surf onto one of those shopping stations. I'm sure you all noticed how adept the hosts are at making each product seem indispensable. Since I've gone through a phase of gratuitous spending from these money-making networks, I now realize just how important it is to wait before making a impetuous purchase. Or else I'm stuck with something I don't really want or I'm inconvenienced by having to send something back that didn't live up to its promise. Or in many other cases, I realized I over-paid. That's the worst:(
More often than not, I've found comparable, and even more reputable products at a lesser price point. Another reason why it pays to wait and do a little investigating as well as exploring.
A prime example of this is my new beauty obsession: Argan Oil
Argan Oil is the yield of the Argan tree, these trees are indigenous in Morocco. This natural Moroccan resource has been used to hydrate and beautify the skin of those blessed to live in this lovely, but very arid region.
Eden Allure is a rather quiet company that rivals their more expensive and known counterparts.
First, why use Argan Oil? Argan Oil is often referred to as liquid gold for good reason.
I've always advocating the import of using natural products on your skin. There are quite a few skincare products on the market that contain some rather nasty ingredients. Argan oil, on the other hand, is pure and natural as well as naturally vegan.
Argan Oil is high in vitamin E and other nutrients and possesses beautifying and anti-aging benefits. There are also a bevy of uses for Argan Oil and it's even said to help with split ends.
Eden Allure Argon Oil is fairly traded so that the women who work tireless to produce the product can benefit from their hard work.
Eden Allure also uses a cold pressed technique to deodorize their Argan Oil. This results in a 100% pure product with the nutrients still intact.
Some of the benefits of Eden Allure Argan Oil:
- Vitamin F (omega 6): anti- aging and anti-dryness of skin
- Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory for sensitive skin, UV protection, and aids in cutaneous micro-circulation. Also neutralizes free radicals.
- Phenols: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, powerful against fungus and bacteria, activates blood circulation and activates Vitamin C.
- Triterpens: restructure cells, is anti-inflammatory and slows down cell aging.
- Squalene: suggested to prevent against skin cancer.
- Certified Organic
I was sent this for review purposes and I absolutely love it! It's very moisturizing and absorbs into the skin very well, it's more like a serum than an oil. It's also ideal for all skin types. This is because Argan Oil contains a "sebum regulating action". A little does go a long way, so I've been using it on my hands and arms and of course my face, neck and decolletage. This one product does it all!
Eden Allure Argan Oil is also a really good value. The best price I've seen for this level of quality in Argan Oil.
I was also sent the Eden Allure organic bar soaps in Lavender and Grapefruit. I can best describe these as purely luxurious. I'm normally not a bar-soap kinda gal, but these are really lovely.
In the end I'm glad I dug a little deeper to find Eden Allure and their quality Argan Oil.
