Reviva Labs; Concentrated Goodness

If you're not familiar with Reviva Labs, they're a skincare line that have been a staple in health food stores for quite some time now.  If you have come across this line you may have noticed that some of their products are presented in microscopic bottles and containers.  Don't be fooled by the size, these products will last like forever.

I was introduced to their Organic Cleansing Milk almost a year ago and I have yet to find anything comparable.  Well, that is up until now.  My finding is called Gentle, Soothing Cleansing Gel and it's also by Reviva Labs.  This soothing gel cleanser is so refreshing, it's the perfect cleanser for the summer.

So let me tell you what I love about both these cleansers by Reviva Labs.

First off there isn't a lot of junk ingredients in either cleansers, no irritating fragrance or other chemicals.  I can use both cleansers around my entire eye area without irritation.  This is really important to me because I wear thick concealer under my eyes and the last thing I want to do is tug and pull that area.  This goes for other eye makeup, it simply dissolves the makeup and absolves the need for a separate eye make-up remover.

Soothing Cleansing Gel & Organic Cleansing Milk by Reviva Labs are both vegan and cruelty free!

Both cleansers thoroughly remove dirt and makeup without stripping my skin.  After cleansing my skin doesn't feel dried out, but just clean.

Don't be fooled by the small 4 oz size bottles, Reviva Labs Cleanser really last!

You can usually find these cleansers for a retail price of around $10, and they will last a minimum of six months, closer to eight.  Even at six months that's only $20 a year for a good quality cleanser.  I think that is a fantastic value!

Tan Without Sun by Reviva Labs

No more bad tans

I was recently introduced to a product by Reviva Labs called Tan Without Sun.  This is a natural self-tanner for face and body.  I'm all about bottled tans and I feel this delivers a natural looking tan without the dangers of the sun or tanning beds.

The active ingredient in Tan Without Sun is DHA and this works with natural proteins in the outer layer of the skin to produce skin darkening.   It actually takes a few hours for the tan to develop.

My skin produced a really pretty golden hue.  The product is very easy to apply and absorbs into the skin quickly. Because the results are so so subtle I didn't have any streaks in spite of the tanner being a milky hue as opposed to a color, which normally doesn't make for easy application.   Unlike most self-tanners this doesn't wash off, but rather fade, much like a regular tan.

The color needs to be built, that is applied a few days in a row to reach a desired color.  This no doubt contributes to the ease of use.  It's not messy like most self-tanners and the smell will not over power you. I've shelled out big bucks on self-tanners and regardless of the brand or price tag, none of them are pleasant to use.  This is the mildest I've come across.

Perfect for the face.  Like I mentioned, achieving a desired color for the body will most likely require layering the product, but as far as the face is concerned, it's just the right amount of color.

Tan Without Sun is basically a foolproof self-tanner that will give you natural looking results.
