Shoes that bring you joy while you walk is the concept behind Joya shoes.
The masterminds behind the Joya shoe basically used the principle of biomimetics to construct a shoe that would be as flexible as the human foot and then they added several layers of cushion to provide support and comfort.
The result would completely redefine the shoe into something that is as comfortable as being barefoot in grass yet provide needed support on harder terrain.
Joya shoes are made to alleviate stress on the foot while providing support. The diagram above demonstrates the amount of foot pressure of Joya compared to other shoes. Red is the maximum amount of foot pressure and blue is the lowest. Joya wins hands down.
Oh but are they pretty? Many will sacrifice comfort for aesthetics, this is a mentality that I can't relate to, with that said I feel that most fastidious men and women will be pleased with Joya's stylish selection.
There are seventeen styles in the women's collection and I would actually like to have ten. I would throw out all of my shoes; except a couple of dress shoes for black tie events, and replace them with Joya, and I would be good to go.
Joya also has a nice selection of men's shoes. You guys will be styl'n.
The bottom line is that I prefer shoes that are comfortable and I find Joya to be a cut above other shoes of this genre. I never really appreciated the degree of how confining and constrictive my feet are in my other shoes until I started wearing Joya. Another aspect is that Joya shoes are extremely durable, so even though they may cost more than you're average comfort shoe they will last far longer.
Joya shoes simply rock and win my humble award for best comfort shoe, actually they win best shoe period. No they are not Manolo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo, they're just better.
I have a strong feeling that one day Joya technology will be the norm for footwear. People will look back in utter amazement and horror at today's footwear and wonder how a bygone people managed to endure such horrific torture on their feet.
